Here
the mighty shire horses which worked the farm were stabled in wide stalls.
This area has been converted into a very large room, with a high beamed ceiling. At one end is the kitchen and dining area and at the other the comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove. The room has windows giving views in two directions. Further on were the loose boxes were the riding ponies were kept and the brood mares gave birth and reared their foals.
The farm was famous for the horses bred there, many of which can be seen in the pictures throughout the houses. These boxes and the tack room have been converted into two spacious bedrooms with two bathrooms, one of them en-suite.
