Mill Laine Farm house dates from the 16th Century. The oldest section – the Millers Cottage – has always been a separate part of the farm house. It has recently been refurbished as a holiday cottage sleeping up to four people. The cottage is made from brick and flint in the traditional Sussex style and has all of its beams exposed.
It comprises – the kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge and it’s original features of a brick floor, aga and bread oven.
The sitting room has an inglenook fireplace, wood burner and relaxing sofas for cozy evenings.
An upstairs bathroom with the original freestanding bath and a separate modern shower. Two delightful double bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The cottage has wool carpets and craftsman made furniture.
This cottage is flexible for booking as a B&B (please call 01273 475473 for B&B rates and availability) or as a self catering unit for longer stays.
Due to its age this cottage has rustic old world charm and is comfortable and cozy, in some areas the ceilings are fairly low.
